My Girls have been watching Mira Royal Detective on Disney+ for while now. The show follows a girl set in a fictional town called Jalpur that incorporates cultural representation across India’s diverse regions. India is already on my travel bucket list, so when my girls asked if we could do an India study. I jumped on it! The only thing was where do we start. We chose to structure the study with an intro, followed by history of India through Ancient, Medieval, Colonial, and Modern India. We paired several world religions and their holidays with each time period, and covered a different animal each week.
