Hi,

I’m Shannon: mother to two beautiful girls (2 yo and 5 yo) and wife to a loving, supportive husband. We live in Atlanta, GA, USA with our dog (and a Mosimo algae ball named Dennis). I have a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology and I am currently taking a “sabbatical” to focus on “early childhood development” (i.e., I am a stay at home mom) while I homeschool our children. 

I love learning, solving problems, and then sharing what I’ve learned with others. My hope for this blog is that by sharing what we have tried, learned, and experienced on our family’s journey, then your journey can get a little easier. Whether that’s because you learn that you are not alone, you see things in a new perspective, or you take advantage of activities I’ve already compiled. I hope “Let Mama Bee” can provide you with support so that you can bee all that you hope to bee.
